PAUL GIVES RANDOM CELEBRITIES A FREE DRUM LESSON. THEY SIGN some stuff. THE stuff GETS AUCTIONED OFF FOR CHARITY. A JOLLY FUN PROJECT.
With a continued belief that drumming makes people happy, particularly in these often harsh times, and can do a lot of good for charity in the process, Paul is on a mission.
The plan is simple: Paul wants to give 100 celebrities a 30-minute drum lesson. Ideally, these celebs will have no drumming experience whatsoever...can Paul make absolutely anyone into a drummer, in just half an hour? After the (free, obviously) lesson, the guest will be asked to sign a drum head and book - these will be auctioned with all money going to The Trussell Trust - an amazing charity who do wonderful, worthy things, helping support the food banks in the UK.
We’ll also have a GoFundMe page for the project for anyone wishing to contribute.
Together, with drums and a slightly over-caffeinated teacher, we can make a difference!
It feels like a win-win...stars get the chance to learn a new instrument in the hands of an experienced teacher, Paul has a lot of fun, a worthy charity will hopefully make LOTS of money. Unlike a reality TV show or such like (this will not be filmed, for starters), Paul is not out to challenge (or mock) his new drummers, he genuinely wants to test his teaching skills and will be as positive and as supportive to his new ‘students’ as possible. All in all, a happy experience all round!
But can Paul find 100 celebrities to teach? Can he really be the DRUM TEACHER TO THE STARS?
